Prime Video's AI recap gets Fallout's plot wrong and is pulled

In November 2025, Amazon started a beta of Video Recaps on Prime Video. Generative AI picked scenes from a past season and added a synthetic narrator. Before Fallout's second season, viewers watched the season one recap and found mistakes. The narrator placed the show's flashbacks in the 1950s. They are set in 2077. It also turned the finale's alliance between the two leads into an ultimatum. By December 12, the Fallout recap was gone. Engadget found no recaps on the web for any of the five shows in the test. Amazon did not comment.
